In this unique style of musical, each actor receives a 1-2 minute scene/song to rehearse, video record, and upload.

This musical was written in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as a way for actors to work together as an ensemble to put on a show – while staying safe in their own homes.

The writing team realized early on that the format of a traditional musical would not work remotely (group singing on Zoom is a disaster), so they built the show from the ground up.

They considered what kids, adults, and directors are going through at this time.

Soon, their correspondents are in a whirlwind of ecstatic musical reporting – from joyful weather forecasts, to cheerful cooking segments and blissful political updates!

But, when vulnerability starts peeking through the euphoric facade, they’re left wondering: is there room for raw honesty on a super happy broadcast?

This new virtual musical (designed specifically to be rehearsed and performed remotely), incorporates real stories from kids age 7-14, offering a positive outlet for them to express their emotions.
